welcome! we are kulam studio

we are a bunch of nerds with a passion for researching and creating. kulam studio is our little coven of ideas. always learning, always bickering, and always wanting to make cool stuff with meaning (or silly goofy ones, because why not)

our current capstone confronts a reality many Filipinos face: patriarchal and colonial mentalities that continue to oppress through culture, law, and religion, especially women and queer people. In our work, we look back to Babaylan traditions and precolonial gender systems as guides for creating a game that challenges those norms while encouraging reflection.
